Willy’s Pies is an independent food business born out of a passion for quality and authenticity. Founded during lockdown by a chef with a mission to bring proper pies back to the forefront of British cuisine, we pride ourselves on using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques to stand out from your average run-of-the-mill pie.
With strong growth since inception and an exciting new chapter ahead, including a move into new premises, we’re looking to bring in a Sales & Accounts Management Lead to drive commercial performance and support our transition to the next level.
The Role
This is a dynamic role best suited to an ambitious, commercially minded individual, comfortable leading sales efforts while managing key client relationships. We’re looking for someone who can support a range of operational and administrative tasks while we scale the business. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching to negotiation, closing and following up - while ensuring high levels of customer experience across both B2B and D2C channels.
In the short term, this role will be undertaken on a remote basis, during which time extra administrative duties will be undertaken. Once we move to our new premises, a hybrid working arrangement will be expected.
Responsibilities of the Sales & Accounts Management Lead include:
- Identifying and leading new business opportunities (B2B focus)
- Presenting the brand and product to prospective partners
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms in line with business targets
- Maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients
- Managing and updating sales and performance metrics via CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Processing orders and supporting fulfilment
- Responding to B2B and occasional D2C customer service queries (D2C volume is low)
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure operational smoothness
About You
- A proven track record in sales and account management, ideally within FMCG or a high-growth start-up environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset
- Confident using CRM systems and producing accurate sales reports
- Comfortable working autonomously and willing to support wider business operations where needed
- A proactive, adaptable approach to working
What’s On Offer
- Salary: £40-45,000 (rising to £50,000 upon relocation to new premises)
- Location: London
- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Holiday: 28 days per year
- Working arrangement: Remote (switching to hybrid upon relocation to office space)
